My Story

I’m Diana Chang, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist- here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. I truly care about my clients’ well-being and believe that every individual deserves a care plan that meets their particular need(s).

I have a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of San Francisco.  In my clinical career, I’ve gained years of experience working with marginalized populations, individuals with trauma histories, and culturally dynamic couples/families.  Outside of my private practice, I'm a Clinical Supervisor at East Bay Agency for Children, where I support clinicians in school-based mental health programs.  Although trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I consider myself an eclectic therapist who incorporates a variety of therapeutic philosophies to best serve my clients.

As a culturally aware therapist, I understand that our perspective is heavily influenced by our cultural identity.  I'm here to respect that identity, as well as assist you in your personal growth.  While in session, you can expect me to be warm, collaborative and active.  I love working with teens, fellow individuals of color and couples.  As a therapist, I value autonomy, transparency and a strong therapeutic relationship.
